• Planning health, safety, welfare and environmental systems for lifting operations
• Planning work activities and resources to meet project requirements
• Evaluating and selecting appropriate work methods
• Identifying, allocating and planning the use of plant, equipment and lifting machinery
• Developing and maintaining good working relationships on site
